What is INVENTATHON?

The INVENTATHON is essentially a hackathon, with a twist.

At the INVENTATHON, you can do anything from coding an app, building a robot, or making something uniquely creative based on a given theme (which is "Health" for Fall 2017).

Teams can consist of 2-5 members and you will have approximately 20 hours to create something amazing! Of course, you can do it by yourself, but it won't be the same!

Hackathons, like the INVENTATHON are a can't miss experience, especially for high school students! You can learn something new, make something that the world has never seen before, and win some amazing prizes ($)!

Yes! In fact, we recommend teams of 2-5 members to get the most out of the event. A lot of this is teamwork, and you only have 18 hours to create something amazing!

Laptops, chargers, cell phones, and of course passion will be helpful. Other useful items include: toiletries, a change of clothes, a pillow, some earplugs, an eye mask, a jacket, and deodorant (this does not mean you'll be staying overnight, just for the purpose of rest).

Bring some cash for water/drinks, other snacks, and supplies. We're doing our best to get as much as possible sponsored for the event, but we may not be able to provide everything for free.

Knives, firearms, and other dangerous things from the outside world are not permitted at the event.

Admission is $15 and includes access to WiFi, lots of tools and equipment, and some sponsored snacks.

Bring some cash for water/drinks, other snacks, and supplies (such as arduinos, sensors, etc). We're doing our best to get as much as possible sponsored for the event, but we may not be able to provide everything for free.

Of course! We want to recognize your efforts and the time you spent at the event. We will have professionals in various STEM fields as judges to help evaluate the projects and award the prizes.
